That time of the year...
Well the last two weeks are now upon us. Are full of the Christmas spirit or just deflated and waiting to finish finals? Just a bit of both I'm willing to say. My last few weeks are busy with the sound of typing out the last few essays and presentations. hopefully you all are surviving through it! here's a little tidbit of a shoot i did with the fabulous Ashley Churchill!

Weekend Adventures: The Saga
Hey everyone, what a busy crazy month November has been!
I hope you've been getting ready for winter, hiking on these last few days of so called fall, when its actually been snowing here for two weeks now. I think its time to set up the Christmas lights before my fingers freeze off completely.
This week I have been doing so many shoots trying to get read for finals, and I'm really pleased with some of them have turned out, so on top of all my editing and two essays to write I'll be working too! very excited for this Christmas season!
Here are some shots from my hike last weekend! (Ps. Hope everyone enjoys their week and get plenty of sleep, eight hour minimum my friends!)

Missisuaga Civic Center
Hey Everyone!
So a couple weeks ago I went on location to shoot City Hall and found a lot of history went into building the giant structure that is our civic center. The building was supposed to look like an old school barn, the reason for this is because they wanted to celebrate the fact that rural Canada was becoming a very happening place and the city to be would grow and grow but never forget its roots. The main building is styled like a barn with a peak in the center. while on the side the circular structure is to represent a silo. I wanted to make these two structures very prominent in my shot so heres what I did!
(P.S. Have an awesome week and remember the history of everything is important, never think of the past as boring, we can always learn from our own experiences and from the worlds)

Website Creation
We are currently learning a lot about making ourselves a website in class, Ive found it to be challenging and very rewarding. Some times simply being proud that you are understanding something that almost seems like a foreign language makes you want to cry of joy!
Sorry I haven't been around lately! I have been so busy! last week I was at home in the country and spent time with my family. It is so beautiful this time of year! Hope you all enjoy your fall mornings and evening because I know I will!
See you next week!
(P.S I felt like adding a photo that was taken of me this summer in quarry about a thirty minute drive from my house. My good friend and amazing photographer Emily Kathryn Jones took this, I am so thankful for people with talent and to see new outlooks on everything.)

Happy Thanksgiving every one! hope you're all jumping back into the swing of Fall.

I'm very excited to share some of the work we have bee doing in class as well as on location. The weather has been extremely cooperative so I'd just like to say how thankful I am for that given the season and all! Next week will be my break week so expect some good posts coming your way! Have a great week!

A little Fall Lovin'
This month has me in a warm cozy mood with my photography, every where I go I'm inspired by these Indian Summer blog posts! I took my inspiration and used it toward a fall themed truffle shoot that I did for a studio class. Working with chocolate is one sweet deal, not only are the truffles beautiful and perfectly made they also taste amazing! I used mini pumpkins that I bought from a local farmers market one weekend and bought the chocolate from Godiva!
(P.S. Have a great thanksgiving this weekend and enjoy the beautiful fall weather and scenery!)
